Cashew Cheese Sauce

My cashew cheeese sauce was one of the most popular sauces at Pump Cafe. This is the first time I'm sharing this recipe which now with No.7 Spice is even easier to recreate! 

Not only is this cheese sauce free of antibiotics, hormones and preservatives, it's also full of collagen building copper for youthful skin, body toning protein from the nutritional yeast, mind strengthening turmeric and enhanced muscle recovery anti inflammatory garlic. A cheeze sauce designed for body, beauty and mind! 

You'll be amazed at how much it tastes like cheese! I use it on everything! Burgers, Taco Tuesday dishes, fries, salads, and this wkd I dipped my Eggplant Thai Basil Yucca Pizza in it!

 

Equipment:

High Speed Blender

Ingredients:

Cashews, raw, 1 cup (If you use soaked cashews, use less water when blending. Try 1/2 cup)

Lemon juice, freshly squeezed, 1 Tbsp

Nutritional yeast, 2 Tbsp

No.7 Spice, 2 tsps OR

-Turmeric powder, 1 tsp

-Garlic powder, 1/2 tsp

-Black pepper,1/4 tsp

-Sea salt, 1 tsp

Water, 3/4 to 1 cup 

Instructions:

1. Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend till a funnel happens inside the blender. Keep blending till smooth.  Add water as needed a little at a time. 

Sidenotes: 

If your sauce seems too thin, simply add more cashews.

Due to the cashews this sauce thickens when cold. Sit out of the fridge for a bit if you want it thinner.
