One of the best ways to keep your immune system solid during this time is to include the rainbow of veggies and fruit in your diet. But who wants to go to the grocery store!? A little over a week ago in anticipation of more restrictions I bought a bunch of produce to last for 3-4 weeks so I wouldn't have to go to the store as much. Veggies naturally make up the bulk of my diet, so regardless I want to have some on hand at all times.
To keep produce fresh I'm preserving them in two ways.
1. Pickling! Which I shared in Part 1 last week. Here's the video in case you missed it.
2.Freezing! Which I'm sharing in this post. I have a 3 minute video showing how I freeze avocado, cauliflower, bell peppers, lemon, pineapple, bananas, sweet potatoes, and parsley!
Hope this helps and inspires you, as eating whole, real foods will also help keep that chin up during these times. ;)
Stay safe and b.well,
